I started using SMOOTH-KOTE and TUF-CLOTH on my firearms over 3 years ago. Needless to say, I haven't lubricated my firearms with anything else since (and I won't in the future).
With our hectic training schedule and the number of rounds that I fire each week (close to 500), I have little time to perform maintenance on my MP5 and USP. Using Sentry products has reduced the time it takes to clean them as they don't foul up as much as when using oils. My name is Sgt. M. M. a Military Policeman from the 105th MP Co of NY NG. I am on active duty in Iraq. I spent eight years as a Marine Corps Infantryman and five years as an MP.
I first used TUF-CLOTH in 1999 during a rotation in Bosnia. I purchased my first TUF-CLOTH at the AAFES PX at Eagle Base, Bosnia. I was skeptical, but soon became a die-hard user.
On my current deployment to Iraq, my TUF-CLOTHs have been invaluable. The cleaning and lubricating action of the TUF-CLOTH has kept my 9mm and M16A2 with M203 in good working order through the sand and grit.
I had originally brought ten TUF-CLOTHs with me from Ft. Drum. Since I'm a team leader, I passed some cloths to my team members. I'm happy to say that my drivers M16A2 has never been so sand free. My M249 SAW Gunner is also using one to keep his SAW in top shape. Word of mouth has really caught on and now most of the squad uses them.
The downside to this, for me, is I'm out of fresh TUF-CLOTHs. The AAFES PX at Arifjan does not have your product. Unless I find some TUF-CLOTHs, my squad will be going back to less advanced means of maintaining our weapons. Thanks for your time and the great product.

FLABBERGASTED! That pretty much describes my reaction to the results of the Marine Tuf-Cloth I received a couple of days ago. I am a "pocket pistol" collector who currently resides in Louisville. The best way to describe the condition of the air is BRUTAL! Very hot with very high humidity. Sometimes it seems difficult to tell the air from the water.
