I am writing you from Afghanistan. I am a member of 187th Infantry Regiment. Soldiers in our battalion have your product, TUF-CLOTH. My name is Sgt. M. M. a Military Policeman from the 105th MP Co of NY NG. I am on active duty in Iraq. I spent eight years as a Marine Corps Infantryman and five years as an MP. I first used TUF-CLOTH in 1999 during a rotation in Bosnia. I purchased my first TUF-CLOTH at the AAFES PX at Eagle Base, Bosnia. I was skeptical, but soon became a die-hard user. On my current deployment to Iraq, my TUF-CLOTHs have been invaluable. The cleaning and lubricating action of the TUF-CLOTH has kept my 9mm and M16A2 with M203 in good working order through the sand and grit. I had originally brought ten TUF-CLOTHs with me from Ft. Drum. Since I am a team leader, I passed some cloths to my team members. I am happy to say that my drivers M16A2 has never been so sand free. My M249 SAW Gunner is also using one to keep his SAW in top shape. Word of mouth has really caught on and now most of the squad uses them. The downside to this, for me, is I am out of fresh TUF-CLOTHs. The AAFES PX at Arifjan does not have your product. I have been using SMOOTH-KOTE in my rifle bores since May 1995s SUPER SHOOT. My groups are significantly improved due to the lack of fouling. SMOOTH-KOTE really works!

We have been using Sentry products since about mid 1994. We were introduced to the product because I was working with a Naval Special Warfare group in San Diego. A gentleman down there who was the head of their Test & Research Department introduced me to the product TUF-CLOTH. That was what he showed me at the time. He told me that it was the absolute best product that they had ever found to prevent their guns & weapons from being corroded by salt water exposure, & he said,Ernie, this is the product you guys should check out for your knives. We are in a position where our knives are used by probably the hardest user end group in the world, and being in that position our customers do not want the best product, they demand the best product. That is the reason that we use TUF-CLOTH and Sentry Solutions on all of our knives - every one that goes out the door has got it on the blade and on the inside for lubrication and we have never had any complaints on our products and part of that reason is that we are using TUF-CLOTH and TUF-GLIDE on it and so we are going to be using it as long as we are making knives.

We tested the product, liked it and recommend it with sale of our knives. It is probably one of the best rust inhibitors that we have ever seen. Easy to use, it is convenient. There is not a lot of debris that is attracted because it is a dust free solution as opposed to having an oily residue so that the knife stays nice and clean and yet inhibits rust, nice lubricant along with it! We found carbon will make knives cut well but it also will make them rust. We needed a product that we could use during production to treat the knives so we would not have any corrosion problems till we got our product to the customer and we needed something to recommend to the customer after they got the product. Sentry Solutions TUF-CLOTH and Tuf-Glide does the best job of any product we have ever used. Completely dry, does not collect debris, gets into the workings of the knife, keeps the customer from having to take them apart to clean all the time. We are completely satisfied with the products.

It has been in the region of five years now that we have been including one of the sample size TUF-CLOTH in with every One Piece Knife. We found Sentry Solutions about 4 years ago and it has been a solution to a lot of problems we have had.

I became familiar with Sentry Solutions products in 1997. Been using it since. I work a lot with Damascus, which is a carbon steel. I use the TUF-CLOTH to protect my product. At the shows they get handled quite a bit and acid from peoples hands will create quite a bit of damage on a Damascus pattern. With the Tuf-Cloth used on the knife I've had no problems since.

Our military strives to equip our troops with the most efficient tools available and that is in keeping with Sentry Solutions’ mission. TECHNIQUE FOR DEPLOYING A VANTREPAN WITH A RONS VEHICLE

This document provides suggestions on how to deploy the Vantrepan using the RONS Vehicle.

VANTREPAN: TECHNIQUE FOR RONS VEHICLE DEPLOYMENT

This manual provides a technique for creating a Gripper Adapter to hold a Vantrepan in the RONS Vehicle gripper. This technique was developed by NAVEODTECHDIV under the RONS Continuous Improvement Program (CIP). This technique is not definitive, it is meant to provide a suggestion for the deployment of a Vantrepan using the RONS Vehicle.

This technique covers how to make a Gripper Adapter to hold the Vantrepan in the RONS gripper, how to prepare the Vantrepan to stick to a target, and suggestions for how to deploy the Vantrepan. The method involves using 2 separate components: a Gripper Adapter, and the Vantrepan (with a piece of plastic PVC pipe).

The purpose of two separate pieces is to keep the deployed Vantrepan as lightweight as possible, so that it will adhere better to a target.

To deploy the Vantrepan with the RONS Vehicle, it is necessary to be able to stick the Vantrepan to a wide variety of target surfaces. This can be done by putting a material on the front surface of the Vantrepan that is capable of holding the loaded Vantrepan stationary on a target.
